Grabbers Delivery ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Grabbers Delivery mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our App.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you register, we collect your name, phone number, and email address.

Location data: We collect your precise GPS location to show nearby businesses, validate your delivery address against our service area, and enable real-time delivery tracking. Location is only accessed while you use the App.

Order data: We store the details of every order you place, including items, amounts, delivery addresses, and timestamps.

Device information: We may collect device identifiers (e.g., push notification tokens) to send you order status updates.

Usage data: We collect anonymous analytics about how you interact with the App (screens visited, errors encountered) to improve performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To process and fulfill your delivery orders
• To dispatch and track drivers in real time
• To validate that your delivery address falls within our active service area
• To send push notifications about your order status
• To provide customer support
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
• To comply with applicable laws and regulations

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your data only in the following circumstances:

• Delivery drivers: Your name, phone number, and delivery address are shared with the driver assigned to your order.
• Businesses/restaurants: Your order details (items, special instructions) are shared with the business fulfilling your order.
• Service providers: We use third-party services (e.g., Firebase for push notifications, cloud hosting) that process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal obligations: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal process.

4. Location Data

Location access is essential for the App to function. We use your location to:

• Confirm your delivery address is within a supported city in the Akkar region
• Show estimated delivery times
• Allow drivers to navigate to your location

We do not store continuous background location history. Location is used in real time during active sessions and order fulfillment only.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and order data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address below. Order records may be retained for up to 3 years for accounting and dispute-resolution purposes.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we strive to protect your data.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. You may also withdraw location permission through your device settings, though this will limit App functionality.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via a notice in the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
